A large scientific meeting brought together geographers, biologists, and ecologists from Vologda, St. Petersburg, Moscow, the Yaroslavl region, Vytegra, and Arkhangelsk. The conference is being held face-to-face and remotely.

The winners of the contest for creating the logo of the 50th anniversary of the Vologda optical and mechanical plant (VOMZ) were named at Vologda State University.
