24 teams participated in the 3×3 Basketball Summer Championship, which took place in Vologda. According to the results of four rounds, the first place was taken by the VSU university team “Bulldogs-VSU”. The tournament was held at the Street Basketball Center.

On July 25, the admission campaign in Russian universities has come to an end. In Vologda Oblast, the largest number of prospective students submitted their applications to Vologda State University making it the leader among the universities in our region.
The final game was held at the “Dynamo” stadium in Vologda. The visiting team, “Oruzheyniki” from Karelia, have already made it to the playoffs. They haven’t been defeated since 2020, and brought the starting lineup to Vologda.

IT profession has recently become more and more popular. Development of digital technologies in the country depends on the level of training of specialists in this area. The higher education system keeps up with the challenges and launches relevant training programs. This academic year, new master’s programs in artificial intelligence will be taught at Vologda State University.
The presentation of the new library took place at VSU. The event brought together public officials, scientific and creative intelligentsia, students and educators.

The participants of the quiz “I love my country” had to answer these and many other questions. The quiz was organized by Natalia Vontova, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law.
“Mini-football – to universities” is a unique All–Russian project of the Russian Mini-Football Associations which is implemented under the auspice of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Russian Football Union.
