The students were really stoked to carry out a research on one of the Vologda Oblast dialects. Nadezhda Osokina lives in faraway Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, but she collects dialect words and expressions of her homeland – the villages of the Cherepovets district. Her notebooks contain more than three thousand words and idioms.
