The work on a monograph “The Concept Sphere of Russian folklore and its reflection in new discursive practices” within a scientific project funded by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research has been completed.
This is a joint work of Elena Ilyina, Professor of Vologda State University, Doctor of Philology, and her colleagues Vasilisa Karpova (Vologda Multidisciplinary Lyceum) and Violetta Tivo (The Ustyansk School of Technology).
The book is dedicated to the problem of language representation of Russian folklore in the texts of modern mass communication. The authors’ attention is focused on two genres of folk art: the fairy tale and the heroic epos (Bylina).
The publication can be recommended to philologists, teachers, students, as well as to a wide range of readers interested in media linguistics, linguofolcloristics, cognitive linguistics and philological local history.
