Vadim Vlasov, Daria Nikerova and Anastasia Sergeeva were among 804 semi-finalists of the professional competition “Flagships of Education. Students”. All of them scored the highest number of points at the qualifying stage and made it to the semifinals, which will be held in all federal districts of the country. 150 contestants from all over Russia will meet in the final.
Quarter-final game of the Humanitarian Olympiad “Prodigy children of the Vologda Land” was held at the Center for Talented Children Support “Impulse”.
More than 50 parents of prospective applicants visited Vologda State University to learn all about admission to the largest university in the Vologda Oblast. Most of these parents or their relatives are VSU alumni.
The event was held as part of the VSU Student Science Days at the Department of Innovative and Project Management. The third year Economics students took part in the discussion of the impact of scientific ideas on management development.

Biological research can be carried out at various levels. Microbiology is especially exciting. To study it, you will need a microscope which can provide 1500x magnification. This magnification enables the researchers to see not only the shape of a bacterial cell but also its structures. All this makes it possible to conduct a quantitative analysis of the microflora of the environment.
Thus, physiological and biochemical research is one of the most promising areas for HSC. The research includes the study of medicinal plants of the region, the influence of the environment on living organisms, using various groups of pesticides (growth regulators, herbicides, and fertilizers), etc.
Since 2014 the All-Russian public organization “Russian Union of Youth” has been monitoring the state final certification of educational programs of general and secondary education in terms of objective assessment of the Unified State Exam.
