More than 50 parents of prospective applicants visited Vologda State University to learn all about admission to the largest university in the Vologda Oblast. Most of these parents or their relatives are VSU alumni.
Moms and dads of eleventh graders need to help their children make the right choice where to continue their education.
“We invited you over not to persuade your children to apply only to VSU but rather to give you some advice which will help your children choose a future profession, and the right university” said the Rector of VSU Vyacheslav Priyatelev.
During the meeting, parents learned about the popular professions that their children can obtain at VSU, got acquainted with the university infrastructure such as student dormitories which have enough places for those who need it.
“It is important to let our children make their own choice of a future profession. They must decide for themselves what they want to do for a living in future. We should not persuade them; they must choose their own path in life. After all, if a person enjoys what they do, he or she will definitely succeed in their profession,” Vyacheslav Priyatelev added.
