The results of the regional competition WorldSkills Russia, which was held in the Vologda Oblast from November 23 to 27, were summed up.
195 contestants from 33 colleges and technical schools of the region competed for the right to be recognized as the best in their professions, two students from the University College of VSU among them. 280 experts were on the jury board. Competitions were held face-to-face at 15 sites in Vologda, Gryazovets and Cherepovets. All anti-virus regulations were strictly observed.
According to the results of the competition, a University College student, Pavel Kovalev, took the second place in nomination «Engineering design CAD “, and Dmitry Trapeznikov was the third in “Software solutions for business”.
