The XVIII International Scientific Conference was held at Vologda State University remotely this year.
The event gathered scientists from the Republic of Belarus, Kazan, Arkhangelsk, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Vologda, Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and other cities.
The conference was moderated by Candidates of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professors at the Department of geography and environmental management Svetlana Khamitova and Alexander Pestovsky.
The relevance of the conference was underlined by Vice-rector for science and strategic development Alexey Udaratin. “The forest complex occupies one of the key positions in the Vologda Oblast economy. I am sure that the participants will have a rewarding and fulfilling time, they will get an opportunity to exchange their expertise and will find new approaches in the field of forest restoration, wood processing and construction.” – said the Vice-rector in his welcoming speech.
