VSU and the University of Szeged to sign MoU

VSU and Hungarian university agreed on this during an online meeting of the two rectors.

The Rector of VSU Vyacheslav Priyatelev and the Rector of the University of Szeged Laszlo Rovo discussed the prospects of cooperation between the universities.

Vologda State University invited the Hungarian colleagues to take part in such forms of cooperation as publication of joint research papers, articles, holding seminars and conferences, submission of grants application, academic exchange and internships for lecturers, and the implementation of bilateral educational projects using the scientific potential of both universities.

VSU has got proposals in the field of educational activities for both students and educators. One of them is teaching Russian as a foreign language.

The practical course may include extramural classes for students of the University of Szeged with the use of electronic and distance learning technologies.

Supplementary educational programs can also be provided for Hungarian teachers of the Russian language. Vologda State University has some expertise in organizing such programs. In the summer of 2019 school teachers from the Czech Republic studied Russian at VSU.
