Nearly 200 applications were submitted to Vologda State University on June 22, 2020, among them seventy two applications were submitted by VSU University College students who want to continue their education.
In 2020, the admission procedure is carried out online – via the University’s own electronic information system “Electronic Admissions” at www. priem.vogu35.ru.
The applicant provides a passport, a previous education certificate, a 3×4 cm photo and documents about individual achievements. Applicants may also have special rights that have to be verified.
A medical certificate is not required when submitting documents. If an entrant needs to undergo a medical examination which is required for the chosen field of study, they can do it during the first year of study. For other entrants, a health certificate according to the form 086/y can be provided by the beginning of the academic year.
The admissions procedure in 2020 has been approved by the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation.
“Entrants will be able to apply to universities before receiving the results of the Unified State Exam – this is what makes this year’s admission campaign different. As soon as the results of the exams are known and entered into the database, the Admissions Committee will publish the final lists of selected entrants. The deadline for documents submission is August 18, 2020″- reports the press office of the Vologda Oblast Government. According to the Government of the Russian Federation, this year regional universities will be granted the right to enroll more students who will be studying free of charge at the expense of the Federal Budget.
