Saskia Landsberg, a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Bochum (Germany), completed her studies at Vologda State University.  Last weekend the girl returned back home.

Saskia participated in a social project together with the 2nd year students. The project “Magic power of the Word” is aimed at prevention of destructive speech behavior of orphans and neglected children. Classes were held in the premises of the “Children’s village – SOS Vologda’.

Before leaving, the girl shared her impressions of her stay in Russia.

“I was very excited. I’ve been to Saint Petersburg and Smolensk before but only as a tourist. I liked Vologda very much. Especially I was impressed by the “Reznoy Palisade”. As for studying, the most difficult thing was to follow the speech of Russian students.  To keep up the conversation, I first had to formulate an idea in German, and then translate it into Russian. When I managed to do so, they were talking about something else!” says Saskia laughing.

Saskia Landsberg visited VSU as an Erasmus+ exchange student.
