The student research team developed an innovation project of using the schooner “Onezhskaya Zhemchuzhina”, transferred to Vologda State University last year, for recreation activities by the guests of the Vytegorsky district.
The schooner can accommodate 15 people, including the crew. It has a bulwark, rail and an inflatable raft designed for 20 people. It is possible to cook food on it, there is a gas burner and a refrigerator, it also has a radio transmitter, navigator and running lights.
The students have developed five different tourist routes to sail on “Onezhskaya Zhemchuzhina”. Andoma-Gora, Oshta, Besov-nos, Murom monastery and Solovki are among them. The students calculated the distance to each point, the duration and cost of the trip.
Elena Vokhminova, Director of the “Belka-tour” travel Agency, was very interested in the project: “Boat trips are very popular for recreation. “Onezhskaya Zhemchuzhina”, in my opinion, is more suitable for individual tourism, for such people as couples or small groups of friends”.
