The tournament was held in the city of Pskov. Along with the local and Vologda athletes, volleyball players from Murmansk, Petrozavodsk, Ukhta, Cherepovets and Arkhangelsk took part in the competition.
In their group, our girls played two difficult five-set games against the Ukhta and Petrozavodsk teams. They beat the Murmansk team 3:0. In semifinals, they had to compete against the winner of the first group and the main tournament favorite – the team from Cherepovets State University.
In the regional derby, the VSU team won 3:0. Unfortunately, physical and emotional strength was not enough for the final, in the game for 1st place, the Ukhta team won 3:2.
