The week of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities started at VSU with a traditional festival – Poetry Day. Students from all VSU institutes took part in the festival. Each performance told a life story which took the listeners from one epoch to another and to different parts of the globe.
Poetry by Bella Akhmadulina, Vladimir Soloukhin, Oleg Chuprov, Jack Altausen, Friedrich Schiller sounded from the stage.
The recitals were evaluated by the jury in order to pump the students up with “poetic adrenaline”.
All performances had their unique “pizzazz”. The young actors did their best to show their talents. And the jury had a hard time naming the best. Ekaterina Oborina, a student at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, was recognized as the best reader.
