The online intensive training program for students on the basics of inventions and franchising will work for two weeks. This year, the School gathered not only technical students but also students of humanities.
The program consists of four modules:
Fundamentals of intellectual property;
Legal protection and management of intellectual property;
Technology transfer and commercialization of intellectual activity results;
The final control of the material understanding, including three media cases.
This year, apart from the use of remote technologies, the authors of the online program have chosen a modern method of case-studying. During their studies, the students will get acquainted in the form of media cases with the real business successes of a female inventor, and the world-famous McDonald’s. They also will be able to apply the new knowledge for assessing the effectiveness of innovation management. This year, the School introduced the third practical case about service marks, and trademarks.
The organizers of the School are the Vologda Regional Public Organization of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators, the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of Vologda State University, the scientific and educational center “Problems of the Modern Technological Environment” of VSU.
