The XIX International Scientific and Technical Conference, dedicated to the forestry development, was held at Vologda State University.
There were three subject sections of the conference. The first was dedicated to the current state, issues and prospects of the forestry development. The second dealt with the issues of ecological monitoring of forests. At the third section, issues of education of forestry specialists, the production of composite wood materials, and biotechnologies were discussed.
One of the most important events of the conference was the Round Table dedicated to the development of cooperation between the Vologda Oblast and Finland in the field of wooden housing construction. The participants discussed the project “Wooden construction. Russia – Finland “.
