The invention consists in radiant heating of a greenhouse in winter with gas infrared emitters. The outdoor air is preheated, and the combustion products of the gaseous fuel are discharged directly into the heated area.
The innovative technology can be used for heating cultivation facilities designed for year-round cultivation of agricultural crops in protected ground.
“Among the advantages of the innovation it is necessary to note the possibility of heating the greenhouses all year round, low cost of gas compared to other fuels, and the use of combustion products for soil replenishment,” – said one of the authors of the project, senior lecturer at Vologda State University, Denis Karpov.
