Students at the Department of Regional Economics of the Institute of Management, Economics and Law of Vologda State University annually participate in Olympiads and competitions held by the All-Russian public organization “Youth Union of Economists and Financiers” (MSEF).
In the academic year of 2019-2020, MSEF organized 24 scientific events.
The winner of the 9th All-Russian Olympiad of scientific and applied works on national security and geopolitics of Russia in the category “Information security of Russia” was Svetlana Zazhigina with work “Trade secrets and ways to protect them in the information security system of Russia”, research supervisor – Associate Professor at the Department of Regional Economics Olga Kirik.
