The All-Russian seminar on effective models of federal innovation platforms was held at the Moscow State Geological Exploration University. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. The results of the activities of federal innovation platforms in the field of higher education were discussed during the seminar.
Natalia Yastreb, Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Philosophy Department of VSU was a team member of the federal experts who reviewed the reports this year. She noted the best innovative platforms identified by experts, as well as typical mistakes and problems in organizing work and preparing reports by project participants.
The main purpose of the experts’ work was to identify new pedagogical practices that could later be used by Russian universities in their work. “The results of the work of federal innovation platforms should be actively presented in the media environment and discussed by the professional community. At the same time, reports show that despite the requirements of information transparency, many teams do not realize the importance of such work”, said Natalia Yastreb.
Doctor of Philosophy also spoke about the principles of media planning and the conditions for the effectiveness of the exchange of professional experience. As an example of the successful presentation of the educational project in the media, she mentioned the House of Scientific Collaboration named after S.V. Ilyushin (HSC) and demonstrated what opportunities the media offer to promote new educational practices.
