IP RUSSIA AWARDS diploma was given to the representative of VSU

The winners of the IP RUSSIA AWARDS, intellectual property competition, were awarded in Moscow.

The competition was held by the Council on intellectual property of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RSAIP).

The head of the Federal service for intellectual property Georgy Ivliev spoke at the award ceremony, expressing gratitude to the organizers and nominees of the Award for their professionalism, business and personal qualities that contribute to raising the prestige and development of the intellectual property market.

The Vologda State University took part in the competition along with Russian companies such as PJSC “Gazprom Neft”, “Kaspersky Lab”, petrochemicals company PJSC “SIBUR holding”, JSC “Il” (the company-manufacturer of aircraft brand “Il”) and others.

Anton Sinitsyn, head of the Department of Science and Innovation, candidate of technical Sciences, Director of the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of the Vologda State University, was awarded the diploma of the winner in the nomination “The best commercialization of intellectual property rights in universities”.

“I cannot but note the high professionalism of the staff of the Department of intellectual property and analysis of scientific information of VSU, without which this victory could not be possible. In 2019 the staff of the IP Department together with the developers of the University prepared twice as many applications for intellectual property rights compared to the previous year, license agreements for the intellectual property rights with companies of the Vologda Oblast are signed every year,” said Anton Sinitsyn.
