The Vologda Oblast is getting ready for the IX All-Russian Belov Readings, which are to be held in October 2022. The list of events includes the All-Russian conference “Vasily Belov’s creative work: traditions and present echoes”, and the All-Russian scientific and literary seminar “Harmony”. The conference will be coordinated by Vologda State University with the participation of the Vologda Regional Universal Scientific Library. The library has also begun preparations for publication of two collections of short stories by Vasily Belov.
