Erik Norbergh, Press Adviser at the Swedish Embassy, visited Vologda State University. The Swedish diplomat, who, by the way, speaks fluent Russian, told the 2nd year students at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities about his homeland.
The students learned that the most popular Swedish literary character is Peppy the Longstocking, that many Swedish people live alone not because they do not have a couple, but because they value comfort, and that the musical tastes of the Swedes are not limited to the songs of ABBA.
Students were excited to hear Erik Norbergh’s story, because many of them study Swedish.
