Senior students at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Transport of VSU visited the companies engaged in repairing trucks and specialized equipment.
The first point of their itinerary was “Vologdaskan”, the official dealership of Scania and LiuGong trucks. Vitaly Verkhorubov, the representative of the company, told the students about the latest models of Scania trucks. The young people learned about the newest technologies of truck maintenance.
Then the students visited the authorized service station Service-TRANS. The company is the official partner of Volvo Truck manufacturers in the Vologda Oblast and specializes in servicing of Volvo and Renault trucks.
During the two-hour tour, the students visited the service area with the only repairing facility in Vologda for complete correction and repair of truck frames, got acquainted with the automated system for distributing automotive fluids, examined in operation the induction heating device for metal and eye-witnessed a technical inspection of a truck.
During the meeting, the guys discussed with the representatives of companies a whole range of issues – from the subtleties of vehicle maintenance to employment opportunities.
