The educational center “Impulse” hosted the award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the regional competition “Pedagogical Triumph”. The competition included five professional skills nominations: “Teacher of the Year 2021”, “Pedagogical debut 2021”, “Teacher of the Year 2021”, “I give my heart to children” and “Educator and psychologist 2021”.
Karina Sharkunova, a student at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Ekaterina Efimova, a student at the Institute of Mathematics, Natural and Computer Sciences were among the winners. They received awards in the nominations “Pedagogical Debut” and the “Teacher of the Future”.
The Rector of Vologda State University Vyacheslav Priyatelev spoke about the most important role of teachers in personality upbringing.
“As a historian, I have always been trying to prove that there are eternal values, and one of these values is the mission of the teacher in the social development and in the life of any society. The teacher is a professional who creates the present and the future, and it is the teacher who sets the guidelines for both young generations and the older people. The teacher was, is, and always will be the standard of behavior,”- said the Rector.
