Parents of prospective university entrants met with representatives of Vologda State University during the traditional admissions seminar.

Addressing the audience the rector of VSU Vyacheslav Priyatelev said:” I share your concerns and worries, as I am the father of a young man, who is graduating from high school this year. When choosing a university and future profession, we need to take into consideration desires, abilities, and interests of our children.  We must help them understand what they are really interested in, and try to find areas of their future professional activity that are associated with their aptitudes.”

Alisa Surikova, the executive secretary of the Admissions Committee of VSU, spoke about the rules of admission to Vologda State University and University College.

In 2021 there will be only one admission campaign for budget places. Another innovation of this year’s campaign is an optional examination. For example, if an entrant is going to study “Construction”, then in addition to the mandatory exam in Russian and Mathematics, they can submit results of the exams in Physics or Computer Science.
