An international scientific conference will be held at Vologda State University from September 21 to September 22, 2021. The conference is organized in cooperation with the Institute of Linguistic Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The plenary session of the conference will be dedicated to the topic “Traditions of Russian Linguistics and current problems of modern Lexicology”. Scholars from Vologda, Yekaterinburg, Moscow and the Republic of Belarus will present their reports at the conference.

62 new international students enrolled in Vologda State University this year. All the students came from the Central Asian republics. The largest group of 52 first-year students came from Tajikistan, seven new students are from Uzbekistan and one represents Turkmenistan. Most of the young people enrolled to study technical subjects. Therefore, the Institute of Civil Engineering, the Institute of Mathematics, Natural and Computer Sciences, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Transport are most popular among the international students.

VSU youth guidance counselor to take part in International Forum “Eurasia Global”
