The tour was organized by the Home Policy Department of the Government of the Vologda Oblast.
The trip aimed at social and cultural integration of the VSU international students into the life of the present-day society. During the trip VSU students got acquainted with Russia’s cultural traditions, and its historical heritage.
The young people were stoked to see the magnificent architecture of the monastery and the museum exhibits.
“I came to Vologda from Uzbekistan. I have never been to the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery before. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve enjoyed field trips to historical places like that, and I can say I liked everything there!” – Mamurjon Khudoibergenov shared his impressions with us.
