“Students of Vologda for life” is a joint project of Vologda State University and the non-profit organization “Social perspective”. It is dedicated to promotion of responsible parenthood among young people.
“At present, the attitude of young people to spiritual and family values as well as their moral guidelines is changing. A significant part of young people are planning to remain childless. They explain this by saying that without children, there is a better chance of achieving success in their career. Our project is designed to help those who make a choice in favor of family and motherhood. The priority is helping students who have children or those who find themselves faced with a difficult choice in favor of the child’s birth,” – said the head of the project Alla Oboturova.
The project “Students of Vologda for life” aims at promoting a positive image of the traditional family and responsible parenthood by means of public lectures, group psychological trainings, individual psychological consultations, as well as providing targeted assistance to student families.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Government of the Vologda Oblast.
