Student competition on linguistic and country studies was held in a remote format this year.
The competition, which is held annually, features works on the culture and history of Great Britain and the United States.
The winner of the competition in nomination “Country studies of Great Britain”, a first-year student Elizaveta Kirkina, shared her impressions with the media portal “Auditoriya”:
This was my first experience of participating in the contest, and it was also held remotely! And I enjoyed it very much. The competition was held in Zoom, and we had to show our presentations on-line. This is quite unusual: we, students and teachers, are all in different places, but at the same time we are together, in the same space.
I prepared a presentation about Princess Diana. I’ve chosen this topic because I am inspired by Lady Diana, and I also like the British Royal family. For a long time, I have been following news about their activities around the world.
