Nearly 4 thousand Vologda residents took part in the all-Russian competitions “Lyzhnya Rossii 2020” (Ski track of Russia 2020). Enthusiasts of the popular winter sport of all ages gathered at the stadium “Lokomotiv”.
The start of the race was given by the mayor of Vologda Sergey Voropanov and the famous Vologda biathlete Maxim Tsvetkov.
Students of the Vologda State University took part in the event. Participant of the ski racing Polina Vologzhanina, a sophomore at the Institute of pedagogy, psychology and physical education of VSU, was the winner.
