Winter Academy of the German language studies to open at VSU

Klaus Waschik, Director the Landesspracheninstitut (LSI) at the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), and Svetlana Kibardina, Professor, Doctor of Philology, Head of the Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication at the Vologda State University will open the Winter Academy on February 3, 2020.

The Academy will be attended by students from Russian universities that are partners of VSU. Dr. Waschik and political scientist Janssen will discuss with them various aspects of the history of Germany after its unification (1989-2019): changes in German foreign and domestic policy, in the economy, as well as changes in social life and mentality.

On February 4, 2020 a grand opening of Linguistic auditorium will take place. The Linguistic auditorium was created at VSU with the personal participation of Dr. Klaus Waschik and the General Director of “Logasoft LLC” Alexei Logantsov.

On February 5 Dr.  Klaus Waschik will give a lecture on topic: “Foreign languages 4.0. Methodological and technological challenges in the context of personalization and artificial intelligence”. The lecture will take place at 15 Lenina str., Assembly hall at 3.30 p.m.
