The tour around the capital of the Vologda Oblast brought together young scientists from various cities: Moscow, Vologda, Tver, Syktyvkar.
Mikhail Ozhogin, a master’s student at the Department of National History, was the tour guide, and took the sightseers to the main places of interest in the city of Vologda.
“During our tour, the students and I saw the main sights of Vologda, which attract a lot of tourists. Revolution Square, Lenivaya Ploshchadka (historical place in the city’s center), St. Sofia Cathedral – this is just a short list of what our guests had an opportunity to see, – Mikhail said. – During their tour, the forum attendees followed the so called Lace Line… (a line painted on the pavement to navigate the tourists around the city). Some of the tourists visited our city for the first time, and others took part in the Forum multiple times, and for them, Vologda is the city they want to return to.”
