The presentation of a new book by geologist Valery Chernyshov, who is a member of the Russian Geographical Society, will take place on March 17 in the Vologda Regional Scientific Library.
The book gives detailed characteristics of the composition and structure of sediments of the main geological epochs, a description of extinct representatives of the animal and plant world, as well as fossils that are still preserved in the terrestrial depths of the Vologda land.
