The Ethnoclub of Vologda State University, under the guidance of Associate Professor at the Department of Musical Art and Education Oksana Reima, conducted a folklore program for students of the Institute of Culture and Tourism of VSU.
Future music teachers and cultural studies scholars learned about the ethnocultural traditions of Vologda Oblast, local dialects, proverbs, and took part in folk games and dances. Students from other regions of Russia spoke about their traditions, in particular, about the folklore of Dagestan and the Komi Republic.
According to the students, such meetings help them learn about the authentic Russian traditions.
