The competition was held among employees of academic and research institutes, university educators, post-graduate students, scientists. The main objective of the competition is to promote scientific research and introduce new methods of information interaction.
The organizers of the contest are the Publishing House “Direct-Media”, the Library of Natural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Ivan Mukhin, Candidate of Biological Sciences, won in the category “Biological Sciences with the monograph “Formation of peripheral ciliosocialities on different types of substrates”.
Two monographs by VSU scholars received special awards: “We All are One: selected Vologda literature today” by Professor at the Department of the English Language Lyudmila Egorova, and “Wetlands of the Sokolsky district of the Vologda Oblast”, by Associate Professor at the Department of Geography and Environmental Management Anatoly Novoselov and Candidate of Geographical Sciences Valery Ukhanov.
