VSU students to move to newly renovated hall of residence

Students at the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of Vologda State University checked out the renovation of the hall of residence No. 3, where they are to move at the end of the summer. Vice-rector for Infrastructure Development and Security Oleg Bukhinko gave the students a tour of the building.

The newly renovated hall of residence is some sort of an award to the Institute for the victory in the competition “Institute of the Year-2021”. However, students from other VSU institutes will also live in the building located at 26a Gorodskoy Val. Everyone who is currently staying at the hall of residence No. 8 on 109 Gorky Street will move in there.

During the tour, the students examined the rooms, bathrooms, showers, and the assembly hall. By the way, the rooms will accommodate 2-3 people. Students with disabilities will be provided with rooms located on the first floor. These rooms are equipped with emergency call buttons.
