Public officers of the Vologda Oblast, IT students at VSU, and schoolchildren gathered at the House of Scientific Collaboration (HSC) to test their IT knowledge.
The quiz is designed for different age categories: children (7-13 years), teenagers (14-17 years), adults (18-59) and senior citizens (60 years and older).
Each test consists of four blocks. The first section is dedicated to basic digital skills such as electronic gadgets and software applications. The second block relates to the Internet, social networks, and other online services. The third deals with digital security, and protection of personal data. The fourth – additional block is dedicated to new technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of things (IoT), and blockchain.
“The IT Quiz is meant to help people master the modern digital technologies. It is very important for young people and senior citizens to know how to use gadgets and be protected in the digital environment” said Alexey Udaratin, Vice-Rector for Research and Strategic Development at VSU.
