Marina Butakova, Director of the House of Scientific Collaboration, showed the eighth-graders around the Center. The students visited the coworking area, classrooms equipped with the up-to-date technical and educational equipment, and the spacious lecture hall.
As part of the excursion, the school children visited the exhibition “Russia. Flight through the centuries”, which displays photos of nature and architectural monuments from across our country.
Then the pupils went to the Geological Museum, where they saw to the collection of minerals, and had an opportunity to determine the hardness of the minerals.
Associate Professor at the Department of Biology and Chemistry, Candidate of Biological Sciences Vadim Sokolov, showed the children methods of measuring the physiological parameters of the human body.
The excursion ended with a demonstration of chemical experiments.
