Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia gave the international students some advice on how to avoid any troubles whilst studying in the Russian Federation.
Such meetings of foreigners with migration officers at VSU have become traditional. In the meeting, the senior migration inspector reminded the international students of the documents they must always have with them:
Passport with a valid visa (if the student arrived from a country with a visa entry procedure)
Migration card
Medical insurance
Notification of the arrival of a foreign citizen
In case of loss of any of the abovementioned documents, it is necessary to immediately inform the VSU International Office.
134 foreign students study at Vologda State University. They came to VSU from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Syria and Equatorial Guinea.
