In his welcoming speech the VSU rector, Vyacheslav Priyatelev, said that despite cultural differences international students should make themselves at home in Vologda.
“Welcome to Vologda State,” the rector emphasized. – However, you should bear in mind that you arrived in a foreign country, and therefore you have to abide by its laws. I am saying that in order to prevent any kind of predicaments you may get into during your stay in the Russian Federation.”
During the conversation, the students told the rector why they had chosen Vologda State University. Vyacheslav Priyatelev also mentioned that pursuing a university degree was the main goal for students in the next four years.
