VSU basketball players are the winners of the regional University Games among educational institutions of higher education in the Vologda Oblast. Athletes from Vologda State University won gold medals in both boys’ and girls’ competitions.
Student at the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education Pavel Kormakov won two medals at the cycling marathon. The tournament brought together 234 participants from 13 regions of Russia.
Sharifkhadzha Mamadov and Jurabek Khasanov students at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Transport took 1st and 2nd places respectively at the Grappling Championship and Vologda Region Championship. In case you do not know – grappling is a sport that combines the techniques of different kinds of martial arts.
