Orienteering competition was held in a forest near the village of Semenkovo, Vologda region.
The athletes had to find the route to the finish line in the shortest possible time using a map and a compass.
“I like orienteering because each route is unique they are never the same. in addition, you can enjoy the beauty of the nature during competitions. This competition, in my opinion, was not particularly difficult, despite the swampy area.” – Kirill Korolev, a VSU athlete, shared his impressions.
