International students went on a field trip to the Goritsky Convent in the village of Goritsy, Kirillovsky district. The students got acquainted with the history of the convent.
Such excursions are organized for representatives of different nationalities to help them get acquainted with the culture of the Vologda Oblast. Over the last 10 years, more than 1000 foreigners visited the places of interest in our region.
“In the Goritsky convent, I felt an incredible atmosphere of peace and spiritual harmony. Surrounded by beautiful nature and ancient architecture, I felt like a real time traveler,” Sherzod Kholboev, a VSU student from Uzbekistan, shared his impressions.
