International students from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Equatorial Guinea attended an interactive lecture about Russian culture and traditions.
“The students wanted to discuss possible risks of misinterpreting Russian traditions. They also spoke about their culture. They shared with us which traditions of their own they prefer to preserve and which they adopt from other cultures,” said the speaker of the meeting, Irina Spasenkova, head of the Department of Theory, History of Culture and Ethnology.
