The forum brought together more than 400 young researchers from all over Russia and other countries.
Postgraduate students and young scientists from Vologda, Cherepovets, Moscow, Voronezh, Bryansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, the Republic of Moldova, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and many other cities take part in the session.
Young VSU scientists presented their projects at the session.
Nikolay Monarkin, Associate Professor at the Department of Heat and Gas Supply, spoke about the development of energy-efficient ventilation systems based on compact regenerative heat recovery units.
The project of Ekaterina Smertina, a fourth-year student at the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education, is devised to help mentally disabled people organize their leisure and create a favorable psycho-emotional environment.
Olga Pchelkina, a fourth-year student at the Institute of Mathematics, Natural and Computer Sciences, presented a system for video analytics which utilizes the machine learning technologies to address industrial safety problems.
The session will continue with series of round tables, master classes, exhibitions, and lectures.
