Dmitry Krivosheev, a Candidate of Biological Sciences at VSU, took part in the “InnoFood” Forum which was held in the city of Sochi.

The participants of the Forum discussed the prospects for development of the food industry. One of the most important trend in the food industry is the use of alternative protein sources. Products made from the protein of insect larvae, and meat analogues produced from vegetable raw materials by “Efko” and “Uralchem” companies, as well as projects of gradual transition to personalized nutrition were presented at the exhibition.

Dmitry Krivosheev took part in the strategic session “New trends in consumer behavior”, and also was a moderator in the specialized session “Personalized nutrition for improving the quality of life and health of the nation”.
